T. Keyzom Ngodup, Co-founder & CEO

Keyzom is a development entrepreneur, highly strategic, creative, pro-active, and energetic - an idea generator and an implementer, with excellent marketing and business development track-record.  She has experience across Middle East, Asia and Africa in social entrepreneurship, financial inclusion including mobile banking, microfinance networks, MSME financing and open data initiatives. Keyzom is Senior Advisor to the Central Tibetan Administration’s ministry of Finance, and serves on the Board of Institute of Integrated Rural Management (IIRM).  A graduate of Cornell University, she was featured in the list of top 25 Influential Cornelians. 


Affan Javed, Strategy Lead & Founding Team Member

Affan Javed is a young professional with five years of experience in recruiting, training and developing leadership skills within Pakistan’s youth. As a founding team member and the Strategy Lead, Affan continues to play an integral role at Developyst. During a short period of time he has helped champion several initiatives including Developyst’s knowledge and research observatory and the education innovation Alliance. He is also an AIESEC youth leader and has chaired and facilitated several youth conferences. He continues to represent youth perspective on policy dialogues within education sector and enjoys public speaking and photography
 
He specializes in multicultural team management; workforce planning and recruiting; conference/event management; leadership training, team management and project planning and execution.  He also helped found B-Solutions, a social media start up in Lahore and is extremely passionate about entrepreneurship and continues to play a strategic role with a number of social enterprises including Developyst, AIESEC Pakistan, and startups: B-Solutions. Affan holds a Bachelors’ degree from Lahore University of Management Sciences, yet he always feels that knowledge and learning can be driven from the most unexpected encounters within ones life – hence he continues to meet many different people in pursuit of knowledge. 


Ahmer Arif, CTO & Founding Team Member

Ahmer leads the strategy and production of some of our largest and hardest projects, from the initial needs analysis to delivery. He is passionate about leveraging open data and open source technology to improve decision and make the world a smarter place. He began seriously developing on the web in the late 1990’s and has a wide swath of projects under his belt, ranging from his work supporting small start-ups to helping the World Bank create and release large-scale monitoring and reporting systems for Pakistan's Health and Education Departments.

As an undergraduate and graduate student at the Lahore University of Management Sciences, Ahmer studied Computer Sciences and Literature. His research and journal publications centered around using technology to implement feasible, smarter energy grid systems (Smart-Grids) for Pakistan and maximizing their positive impact. While in Lahore, he began working with development sector organizations to implement open source solutions to overcome their communication and management challenges.


Anusheh Naveed Ashraf, Senior Associate

Anusheh is one of the founding team members of the Knowledge & Research (K&R) Team at Developyst and is responsible our Knowledge products among other things. A pro-active, driven and passionate worker, she has been acting as a change agent in her community on issues related to women rights, education and conflict management and intolerance. As a youth leader with global student-run organization AIESEC, she has been working in the education sector at a grass-roots level through a local project called “Parhay Ga Pakistan” (Educate Pakistan) for marginalized children throughout her undergraduate studies.
 
Following completion of a summer immersion program on Nonviolence and Conflict Resolution from USA, Anusheh has delivered training session on conflict management in organizations. In her free time, she is currently pursuing the possibilities of designing a nonviolence and conflict resolution curriculum to be used in primary schools and of implementing “Restorative Justice” practices in Pakistani schools. Anusheh completed her Bachelors in Business Administration from NUST Business School and hopes to pursue a Masters in Public Policy in the future.


Usman Khan, Senior Developer 

Usman is an IT consultant,specifically working on large-scale-systems and databases for the last 8 years. His focus has been on optimizing complex databases and efficiently computing large amounts of data using distributed systems. He recently worked at British Columbia Cancer Agency where he worked on a 6000+ core Linux cluster and Virtualization technology to make efficient use of hardware resources. He also has planning and designing experience in migrating legacy database systems to well supported platforms. In addition to managing large scale systems, he has been involved in software development using open-source technologies. Some of these softwares are currently in use by universities and governmental organizations. He finished his Bachelors in Computer Science from the University of British Columbia in 2005.


Raheel Malik, Creative & Design Lead

Raheel is a multidisciplinary designer & art director with an eye for innovation and pixel perfection. His skill set is vast, greatest expertise revolves in the worlds of interactive design, brand identity design and print collateral. His responsibilities with his previous organization includes but not limited to; client consultation, designing from concept through to finished product, completely organising and looking after the work load for the department and the production of all in-house promotional materials, digital marketing, banners, books, annual reports, catalogues, posters and much more. He wished to combine his knowledge and experience in these areas to deliver the best creative to his employer’s clients and their audiences. He finished his Bachelors in Arts from the University of Punjab in 1998.


Mujtaba Khan, Manager Finance

Trained in Audit and business management, Mujtaba is a skilled and results-oriented Audit and Management professional with more than three and a half years of demonstrable experience in working with a leading Chartered Accountancy Firm, Grant Thornton Pakistan and held audits in the development, public and the private sector in Pakistan. He has wide-ranging knowledge of the international Audit and Compliance Sector and its policies and programs as well as of leading multi-national companies. He is a CA finalist from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and completed his CA-Intermediate from School of Business & Management Sciences, Islamabad. During his association with Grant Thornton, he gained advance working knowledge of a number of Accounting Information Systems including MS Office applications.
